History - for you to enjoyBroadway Boutique Cottage is around 300 years old. It was built as the Groom’s cottage for the grand Pye Corner House near-by. In a Conservation Area, it is now available to enjoy as a holiday home in the lovely Cotswolds.
The cottage's special features include a thatched roof, leaded light windows, deep window recesses, original doors and beamed ceilings. The cottage enjoys dual-aspect views over the rolling countryside in an Area of Outstanding Natural Beauty (AONB), yet is a short walk to Broadway's lovely High Street where you will find a range of cafes, pubs, restaurants, boutiques, salons, delis, galleries, antique stores and other amenities and attractions. Broadway's Upper High Street is said to be the most photographed street in England. The following sporting clubs can also be found in Broadway: Golf, Cricket, Football and Lawn Bowls. There is also a gym, spa, pool, exercise classes and a tennis court at The Lygon Arms, which is a short walk from the cottage. As Broadway is in an AONB it is perfect for walkers (it is part of The Cotswold Way), cyclists (bikes can be delivered to the cottage) and horse riders (nearby Stanton offers horse riding). |
